It has been icy cold here in the heart of South Carolina!
My youngest child with a piece of ice he found in the shape of the state of SC!
We had a full week with the kids out of school this past week due to a rare snow/freezing rain event for our neck of the woods. In fact there is still ice and snow in our yard that hasn't melted yet. We enjoyed the down time though and the kids enjoyed the chance to play in the snow. Here is my oldest child making her huge snowball as the boys in the background head down the street with there wagon of snowballs.
My boys along with some friends filled up a wagon with snowballs ready to ambush the other team they were playing with.
We started our New Years celebration by celebrating the birthday of our middle child. She was born on New years day! She turned sweet 16 this year!!! I can hardly believe it!
It seems like yesterday she was toddling around with a paci in her mouth and one in each hand. She
loved her pacifier! I didn't think she would ever give it up!
16 candles! They sure made a lot of smoke!!!
She got a lovely strand of pearls for her 16th birthday. Us southern girls love our pearls! I am so thankful for the gift of each of my children. I am amazed that God let me be their Mom! What a blessing!!!!
